My art is my hobby, but I hope one day it might become something more~
I mostly make fandom-based stuff, typically for Ninjago and MLP FiM. Especially because I consider myself a beginner in the art world, I think creating fan art is the perfect way to develop drawing and writing skills. People don't tend to expect perfection when you're using inspiration from some kids' cartoons. ;)

See, I've been "CayaKat" since I was 6 years old, and I really wanted to start over with a new identity on the Internet. So that's exactly what I did! Fact one: I'm still alive and well, despite my semi-inactivity.
Fact two: I have, just minutes ago, finished reading the most complex, lengthy, confusing, frustrating, amusing, usually-rewarding, colorful, still-ongoing story of my life so far. Also known as Homestuck.
I feel quite proud that I'm caught up to the hiatus now, especially since this thing literally almost took me an entire week to get through, Monday through Sunday (where I'm used to spending up to two or three days on a single story). Hey hi hello everybody! Sorry about the whole being rather inactive and not working on the next chapters for The Scaled Puppetmaster situation. You'd think that once summer vacation came around, I'd have more time to work on my art, but the opposite seems to be the case...
The main problem is that my mom is in the hospital right now with heart valve issues; she actually had open heart surgery some-odd days ago. As a result, it's just been me and my brother alone at home while my dad gives all the time he can to support my mom.
